About the Mangal Font

Mangal is a Unicode-compliant Devanagari font developed by Microsoft and pre-installed on every Windows computer. Unlike Kruti Dev, Mangal stores text as actual Unicode Hindi characters — searchable by Google, readable on any device, and the format required by SSC, Railways, DSSSB and all central government exams that accept Hindi typing.

Target 35+ WPM at 95%+ accuracy for most Mangal-based exams; UPSC Data Entry Operator posts instead use a 15-minute, Key-Depressions-Per-Hour standard — see the full government exam requirements table to confirm which pattern applies to your post.
