Eligibility Criteria
Age: 18 to 23 years on 01-08-2026 (born not earlier than 02-08-2003 and not later than 01-08-2008). Relaxation applies as per the recruitment rules.
Education: Head Constable (GD) — 10+2 or equivalent. Constable (GD) — Matriculation or equivalent. You must hold the qualification by 11-11-2026.
Sports qualification — Head Constable (GD): any one of —
- represented India in a recognised international competition;
- represented a State/UT in National Games or National Championships and won a medal or position up to 3rd;
- 1st or 2nd position in an individual event at Inter-University tournaments (team must have reached the final in team events);
- Gold or Silver medal at Junior National level games/championships.
Sports qualification — Constable (GD): any one of —
- represented a State in Senior or Junior National level games/championships;
- represented State School teams at National School Games (SGFI) and won a medal or position up to 3rd;
- represented a State/UT at Khelo India University/Youth/Winter Games and won a medal or position up to 3rd;
- represented your university in Inter-University tournaments.
Achievements must fall between 30-09-2024 and 30-09-2026.
